Over 60 km/h
A run starts. Speed scores all the time, more the faster you go
Near miss
Pass a car close and quick: near miss, close call, insane. Each one builds the multiplier (up to ×10) and relights its fuse
Thread the needle
Split two cars side by side, close on both
Hard shoulder
Passing on the shoulder pays half again
Barrier
A touch costs the multiplier and nothing scores while you are on it; ride the wall for a second, or hit it hard, and the run is over
Touch a car
The run is over. What it scored still counts for your best
Under 50 km/h for 3 s
The run ends and its score is banked
R
Back onto the hard shoulder (banks the run)
Cars
GT3: balanced, about 290 km/h. Hyper: long, low and wide, about 340 km/h. Sprint: a hot hatch, short, narrow and light, the quickest away, about 280 km/h. Motorbike: 0.8 m wide, 0 to 200 in 6 s, about 300 km/h, leans into the corners. A bigger car is harder to thread through a gap; near misses are measured from your own car's sides
Lanes
Standard 3.6 m, Wide 4.0 m, Wider 4.4 m. In a party the host picks the lanes and everyone picks their own car
Rally party · up to six
Seats
Three cars, a driver and a navigator in each. Click a free seat on the party screen to take it; Swap seats trades places with the other seat of your car
Start
The run starts when everyone seated is ready. The cars go one at a time, 10 s apart, queued behind the line; the start order moves round one place every run
Timing
Your clock starts at your own GO. The results list every car's stage time
Contact
Cars on the stage can hit each other. Once a car crosses the finish it turns into a ghost, so nobody piles into it
No navigator
A car without one hears the pacenotes read out, and its driver works the wipers (F) and the door (G)
Wheel and pedals
Wheels have no standard layout. Press “Set”, then move that control.
